If you run a 10-table pho shop in Hanoi and you're deciding whether to switch POS vendors this quarter, three unrelated stories landed on our desk this cycle. All three cover moves dated 2026-05-29 through 2026-07-08: Sapo, Xendit, and 2C2P. None of the three disclosed a subscription-tier price change — no "$X to $Y a month" language turned up anywhere in the source material, even after we went looking. What did ship: one free local-integration bundle in Vietnam, one completed regional payments acquisition in the Philippines, and one airline payment-orchestration rollout across eight APAC markets.

Sapo

Sapo ran a promotion in June 2026 waiving the activation fee for its ShopeeFood integration, but only for new customers signing up for the Start Up or Pro F&B software packages. The same offer bundled in free activation of Sapo's Offline mode, a feature that keeps a restaurant's POS taking sales during an internet outage and syncs everything back once the connection returns. Staff wages in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City run around the region's legislated minimum of roughly VND 4.96 million a month. Against that, a small F&B operator's activation fee waiver on two features is a real, if modest, saving. It's not the kind of thing that changes a P&L, but it's the kind of thing an owner notices at renewal time.

Both offers were framed as new-contract incentives for Sapo's F&B line, not a change to list pricing for existing customers. We couldn't independently verify a start or end date for the promotion, or an exact discount percentage, beyond the "June 2026" window Sapo published. My read: this looks like Sapo defending share against Shopee-adjacent POS competitors rather than a genuine pricing move, and it's worth watching whether the waiver becomes a permanent feature once the promotional window closes.

Xendit

On 2026-07-08, Xendit completed its integration of Dragonpay Corporation, the Philippines-based alternative payments platform it first invested in back in 2021. Dragonpay merchants now get access to Xendit's platform: more than 100 payment methods, payouts, cross-border payments, and financing products, in one login instead of two separate systems.

This extends a regional network Xendit has been assembling piece by piece: Indonesia and Malaysia (the latter via the 2025 Payex acquisition), Thailand since 2024, Vietnam, Singapore, and Hong Kong. The Philippines joins that list now, through Dragonpay. A small online seller in Jakarta moving even IDR 20 million a month through Xendit's checkout benefits from that consolidation without lifting a finger — no re-integration, no new merchant agreement to sign. If you're a merchant in Manila who's been juggling a Dragonpay account and a Xendit account separately, that friction is gone as of this month. No pricing change was disclosed for Xendit's transaction or subscription fees. Given how acquisitions like this usually play out, I wouldn't expect one soon — Xendit tends to fold pricing changes in quietly, months after an integration closes, not the same week it's announced.

2C2P (by Antom)

At the Vietnam-Singapore Technology Connectivity Forum on 2026-05-29, 2C2P by Antom and Vietnam Airlines announced a partnership. Gary Liu, CEO of Antom and SVP of Ant International, and Le Hong Ha, General Director of Vietnam Airlines, made the announcement together.

Vietnam Airlines will deploy 2C2P's Payment Air Controller (PACO) platform, a system that routes transactions dynamically across multiple acquirers through a single API integration; PACO carries PCI DSS Level 1 certification. The rollout covers eight markets — Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Hong Kong — starting in the second half of 2026. Phase 1 adds domestic bank transfer options, including QR payments and internet banking; phase 2 layers in mobile wallets. A traveler in Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok booking a Vietnam Airlines flight next year should see more local payment options at checkout, assuming the phased rollout stays on schedule. That's a genuinely useful change for travelers used to getting routed to a card-only checkout; I'd call this the most consumer-visible update of the three, even though it's also the one furthest from actually shipping.

No pricing change was disclosed for 2C2P's merchant fees.

Coverage note

Zoom out and none of the three moves this cycle were pricing changes. Sapo's is a local-market incentive: a fee waiver bundling ShopeeFood and Offline mode for new F&B accounts in Vietnam. Xendit's is a completed acquisition-integration, adding Philippine payment rails to a network that already spans six other markets. 2C2P's is the biggest on paper — an eight-market airline rollout — but it's also the one still furthest from actually being live for a paying customer. None of the three tools had been the primary subject of an earlier cycle in this tracker, so we're watching all three going forward. Sapo especially — fee waivers on new contracts sometimes precede a quieter increase on renewal pricing a few months later.
