SEA SaaS Tracker: 2026-08-30
A dispatcher in Petaling Jaya running fifteen vans out of one depot doesn't read release notes for fun. She wants to know whether the app on her phone will actually tell her, in real time, that Driver 7 is forty minutes behind on the Ampang run. This is the dated log of feature, product, and integration changes for Detrack, CTOS, and Tazapay, covering roughly May through August 2026. Every entry below is sourced from a vendor blog, a vendor newsroom, or a press release, and each one names exactly where it came from.
Detrack
- 2026-07-28 — Detrack posts "Detrack's top features released in 2026 so far," logging twenty features and enhancements shipped this year. Three of them actually change how a dispatcher's day runs. Source: Detrack Blog, "Detrack's top features released in 2026 so far."
- Customizable Status Names: merchants can rename any default job status, and the renamed label follows the job everywhere — maps, routes, reports, tracking widgets, rate cards, settings.
- Scheduling View: swaps whiteboards and shared-calendar workarounds for a calendar-style timeline with each driver in their own lane, so a dispatcher sees who's booked and where the day needs rebalancing at a glance.
- AI/MCP integration: Detrack now connects to Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible tool. Someone can ask a plain question about a job, a driver, or a route and get an answer pulled from live Detrack data.
Twenty features in one recap post is a lot of self-congratulation, but only one of them is genuinely new territory. The MCP hookup matters because it turns Detrack from a dashboard you stare at into something you can question mid-shift. A supervisor in Johor Bahru could ask which drivers are running late right now, instead of clicking through six screens to find out. Scheduling View and the renamed statuses are pleasant. Most fleet software from Malaysia to the Philippines already does some version of both.
CTOS
- 2026-06-09 — CTOS launches CMX, an AI-powered credit platform, at the Petaling Jaya edition of CTOS SME Biz Day 2026. CMX ships with a redesigned interface, AI-powered decision-support tools, and enhanced monitoring and eTR capabilities meant to surface risk alerts earlier. CTOS says the rollout continues through the year, with a full launch targeted by end of 2026. Source: The Sun, "CTOS launches AI-powered credit platform." Corroborated by Says.com and Malaysia SME, both covering CTOS SME Biz Day 2026.
- Confirmed live by 2026-07-22 — CTOS's revamped consumer mobile app, with a new design, simplified navigation, and credit-management and identity-protection features, is confirmed live on iOS and Android. Source: The Star, "CTOS Digital remains cautiously optimistic on 2026 outlook," 2026-07-22.
A single credit report from a Malaysian bureau typically runs somewhere between MYR 30 and MYR 60, depending on how deep the check goes. CMX's whole pitch is that a lender shouldn't need to pull as many of those by hand. Whether that actually cuts costs for a mid-sized lender in Kuala Lumpur, or just moves the same manual work behind a nicer screen, isn't something anyone has tested publicly yet. The mobile app refresh is the smaller story here, but it's the one an ordinary consumer will actually notice.
Tazapay
- 2026-05-20 — Tazapay integrates iPiD's Know Your Payee (KYP) verification directly into its cross-border payments platform across 30 countries, adding real-time account validation and beneficiary name matching ahead of a payout. Source: Finextra, "iPiD becomes the payee verification layer for Tazapay." Corroborated by FFNews, IBS Intelligence, Fintech Singapore, and TipRanks, all dated 2026-05-20.
This entry sits outside the usual 30-60 day window for this cycle, which runs roughly from 2026-07-01 to 2026-08-30. It stayed in anyway because multiple search passes turned up nothing newer for Tazapay, and it remains the most recent confirmed change on record as of this cycle. Beneficiary verification isn't free: cross-border payment platforms based in Singapore typically charge somewhere around SGD 0.50 to SGD 1.50 per check once a company is past the free tier. Tazapay's bet is that catching a mismatched account name before a payout beats eating a fraud loss after one. A treasury team in Singapore moving supplier payments into Vietnam or Indonesia is exactly who this feature is built for. The update itself is already three months old by the time this tracker caught up to it.
Not confirmed this cycle
- No pricing-tier change was found for Detrack, CTOS, or Tazapay dated within the last 30-60 days.
- No Shopee, TikTok Shop, VietQR, PromptPay, or GCash integration was found for any of the three tools dated within this window.
- Billplz, Moka POS, Deskera, BukuWarung, Brankas, Ayoconnect, Atome, Bolttech, Ascenda, SenangPay, Volopay, iPay88, ToyyibPay, Paynamics, SePay, BigLedger, Bukku, BrioHR, CXA Group, and Antsomi were all checked for this cycle and dropped. None of them had a pricing, integration, or feature change with a verifiable exact date in the last 30-60 days from a primary or well-corroborated source.
If you're actually choosing between these three for a Southeast Asian operation this quarter, start with Detrack's MCP integration. Tazapay's KYP layer comes next if you're moving cross-border money. CTOS's CMX is a wait-and-see. It's promising on paper, but it's still mid-rollout, so hold off on rebuilding a credit-check workflow around it until the full launch actually lands.
