If you're reconciling Xendit invoices for a 15-person ops team somewhere between Cebu and Chiang Mai, the fee schedule you signed up under last year won't match what you're billed against by October. Same week, Sapo quietly fixed a warranty-tracking gap that's been forcing electronics resellers in Vietnam to fake IMEI records in spreadsheets, and Airwallex bundled a Hong Kong company registration into a single application. Three vendors, three real changes -- and one tool dropped from this edition because its own site wouldn't load.
Xendit
- Xendit plugged in Dragonpay on 2026-07-08 -- the Philippines alternative-payments provider it first backed with a strategic investment in 2021, now fully wired into Xendit's network. Dragonpay merchants get Xendit's 100+ payment methods, payouts, cross-border transfers, and financing products in one connection instead of running a separate integration.
- That follows the pattern: Xendit bought out Malaysia's Payex outright in 2025 and entered Thailand in 2024. It now runs in Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, and Hong Kong -- seven markets under one dashboard, which is the actual selling point over hiring a local payments vendor in each country.
- Starting 2026-10-01, Xendit adds a new "Processing Fee" charged on every transaction attempt -- payment acceptance, payouts, refunds, even failed attempts. It stacks on top of the existing fixed processing fee and whatever payment-method or payout fee already applies. The exact rate depends on country and payment method, so check Xendit's own pricing page before assuming last quarter's invoice still holds.
- Same date, a Monthly Minimum Fee kicks in for "Dormant" accounts: no transactions in 180 days, or total monthly invoicing under USD 50 (roughly PHP 2,800, or about THB 1,750 at recent rates). The fee itself is USD 50 or the local-currency equivalent.
- Charging for failed attempts feels petty on paper, like billing someone for a wrong number. But for a payments company eating millions of retried transactions a day, it's probably the only line item that actually balances the books.
Sapo
- Sapo's POS added IMEI/serial-number tracking at the product level this August (Sapo hasn't posted an exact release date on its own blog). Merchants can now track inventory and manage warranty windows per individual unit, not per SKU.
- Per-SKU IMEI tracking is overdue. Any electronics reseller in Ho Chi Minh City juggling five phone models across three color variants has been faking this in spreadsheets for years. One mismatched warranty claim is enough to eat a week of margin.
- The same release added configurable expiry-lot alerts per product. The old system had one system-wide threshold; now merchants set their own days-before-expiry window per item. Sapo pushes a daily 8:00 AM notification listing lots nearing expiry, plus a new batch-product report for clearance planning.
- It also added branch-level permissions for transfer pricing. Owners can now grant staff view/edit access scoped to a single branch instead of handing over visibility into every branch's pricing by default. For a five-outlet chain in Da Nang, that's the difference between trusting one manager and trusting all of them.
Airwallex
- Airwallex's July release notes added Global Accounts with local banking details for the Philippines, open to Airwallex customers in any region. The same notes cover Visa/Mastercard processing through Cross River Bank in the US, bank-transfer collection in Canada and New Zealand, and Hyvä Theme support for the Magento plugin.
- On 2026-08-14, Airwallex partnered with Air Corporate on a "One-Step Setup" for Hong Kong startups. One application through Air Corporate's Expert package now produces both a registered Hong Kong entity and a live Airwallex multi-currency account, instead of running two separate applications back to back. Airwallex and Air Corporate put the incorporation-to-operational window at roughly 1-2 weeks, against the weeks-to-months most banks still quote.
- Bundling incorporation with a working account actually saves a founder time, unlike the "streamlined experience" language most fintech press releases reach for. Going from paperwork to a funded HKD account in under two weeks beats what most Hong Kong company secretaries promise.
- The launch incentive: Airwallex and Air Corporate are sponsoring 10 Air Corporate clients a month with a free upgrade to the fully-managed Expert package, for as long as the promotion runs.

Airwallex's came from its monthly release-notes page and a press release also carried by Manila Times, Malay Mail, and Bastille Post.
KiotViet got dropped from this edition. Searches in both Vietnamese and English turned up a Techcombank QR cashback program that already expired on 2026-06-30. They also turned up a legal-compliance bundle -- e-invoice, digital signature, accounting software -- folded into every pricing tier with no dated announcement anywhere. A full report-system overhaul had the same problem. None of it carried a publish date inside the 2026-06-16 to 2026-08-15 window. kiotviet.vn was also unreachable through this network's proxy at research time, the same access issue logged in the 2026-08-14 edition for Sapo and KiotViet both. Airwallex filled the third slot instead.
