A Hanoi retailer syncing orders from TikTok Shop, a Manila sari-sari supplier who can't open a business bank account, and a Singapore payments company betting on stablecoins: three unrelated updates this cycle, tied together only by the fact that all three vendors sell into Southeast Asia. Here's what changed between 2026-05-15 and 2026-07-14.

KiotViet

  • Local integration, launched June 2026: KiotViet shipped a TikTok Shop order management module inside its core POS dashboard. Orders placed on TikTok Shop sync into KiotViet automatically, carrying customer details, product line items, branch assignment, seller assignment, pricing, and shipping-partner fees.
  • Order and shipment status changes on TikTok Shop push back to the matching KiotViet invoice in real time, so a shop owner doesn't have to check both platforms to know if a parcel shipped.
  • Multiple TikTok Shop storefronts under one merchant now consolidate into a single KiotViet order queue, rather than requiring a separate login per shop.
  • Revenue and profit specific to the TikTok Shop channel now report separately inside KiotViet's existing analytics, next to in-store and other marketplace sales.
  • Merchants can also bulk-list products from KiotViet's catalog directly to TikTok Shop instead of re-entering listings by hand.
  • Pricing is unchanged this cycle: Support tier at 250,000₫/month, Professional at 310,000₫/month, and Premium at 490,000₫/month, holding steady since the last adjustment on 2026-05-01.

PayMongo

  • New product tier, announced 2026-06-09: PayMongo, Paymentology, and Mastercard launched a virtual prepaid business card for Philippine SMEs that don't have a business bank account.
  • Businesses can issue a virtual card in under five minutes with no branch visit and no bank account requirement, funded by pre-loading balance onto the card.
  • Card controls include per-card spending limits, real-time transaction monitoring, and the ability to issue separate cards to different staff or cost centers.
  • The card runs on Paymentology's card-processing infrastructure under a Mastercard license, with fraud monitoring and compliance handled through Paymentology and APATA rather than PayMongo holding its own banking license.
  • Coverage frames the launch against Philippine SME data: SMEs make up the majority of registered businesses, employ 63% of the workforce, and contribute up to 40% of GDP, yet most can't get a business card without a bank relationship first.
  • Standard PayMongo transaction rates are unchanged this cycle: domestic Visa/Mastercard at 3.125% + ₱13.39, QR Ph at 1.34%, GCash at 2.23%, Maya at 1.79%, GrabPay at 1.96%, ShopeePay at 1.70%.

Nium

  • Acquisition, announced 2026-07-08: Nium acquired Cypher, a crypto-native non-custodial wallet and card-issuing company founded by Kuberan Marimuthu and backed by Y Combinator and Coinbase Ventures. Deal terms were not disclosed.
  • Cypher's product is sunsetting on 2026-09-06, with its engineering team and founder moving to Nium. Marimuthu takes the title VP of Digital Assets, reporting to Nium CEO Prajit Nanu.
  • Nium frames the deal as extending its stablecoin-backed card issuing product and its cross-border settlement network, which already supports funding and settlement in stablecoins, into deeper fiat-to-on-chain infrastructure.
  • None of this touches Nium's Southeast Asia payout rails. There's no change this cycle to its PromptPay, PayNow, or DuitNow connectivity, and no new SEA currency corridor. The Cypher acquisition is a global digital-assets play, not a regional one, and merchants using Nium for THB, PHP, VND, or MYR payouts see no product change from it.

Coverage note

Only one of the three moves this cycle is a Southeast-Asia-specific product change with a direct SEA payment or marketplace rail attached: KiotViet's TikTok Shop order sync. PayMongo's virtual card is Philippines-specific but solves a business-banking gap rather than adding a new local payment method. Nium's news is the least SEA-relevant of the three despite the company's Singapore base — it's a crypto infrastructure acquisition with no changes to PromptPay, PayNow, or DuitNow this cycle. No pricing moved at any of the three vendors this window.
